How much does a French language stay at FIL cost?

FIL French language stays for teenagers – summer

12 exceptional days to learn French while having fun

French programme: Immersion (12 days)

Each group is made up of 16 to 24 participants who spend their days together, with about 2 “French young people” accompanied at all times by 2 or 3 members of the FIL team.

French language workshops: 24 hours (8 sessions during the stay).
Sea kayaking and stand-up paddle, in twos, fours or eights on one craft: guaranteed laughter, games and racing on the Mediterranean Sea. Activity supervised by a qualified instructor.
Tree-top adventure course, different routes in the trees for all levels.
Canyoning park, a great adventure in the heart of artificial canyons, 2 hours of descending through 14 pools: abseiling, jumps of 3 to 7 metres, passing under rocks, slide... Activity supervised by qualified instructors.
Wakeboard / kneeboard – cable water-ski, 1h30 of gliding on a lake, guaranteed thrills, from beginner to expert! or Aquajump (for under-16s), 1h30 of jumping on structures on a lake, guaranteed fun!

Hiking to discover the Vallespir.
Cabaret, games and themed evenings: the team leaders prepare an evening activity every night!
Visits/shopping in Perpignan, Collioure, Saint Laurent de Cerdans and Argelès: discovering typical Catalan towns steeped in history, where you mix business with pleasure, sightseeing while making the most of the shops to buy a few souvenirs!
Swimming in the pool and at the beach, moments of relaxation in the sun, cooling off in the water!
A night under the stars on the Le Noell estate
And lots of other activities at the centre to discover with your team leaders!

Optional activity:

Horse-riding option: rides in the forest and in the mountains, crossing the Spanish border, discovering riding for pleasure! (replacing 2 activities according to the schedule – or a full day) + €125

A typical day at FIL:

9 am breakfast
10 am–1 pm French workshops, practical, fun and at your level
1 pm lunch on the terrace
2:30 pm excursions, sports activities
7 pm refreshments at the centre / pool
7:30 pm dinner facing the sunset
9 pm activities, relaxation, party, film

Our main aim is for every young person to feel good and have a wonderful stay at FIL.

Typical timetable

FIL Immersion Schedule, 12 days: days 1 to 7. Day 1: arrivals, then in the evening an intro presentation. From day 2 to day 7: wake-up at 8:30 am, breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 am, French workshops from 10 am to 1 pm (on day 7, wakeboard instead), lunch from 1 to 2 pm, activities from 3 to 6 pm, dinner from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, evening activity at 9 pm, bedtime between 10 and 11:30 pm. Afternoon activities: day 2 swimming pool, day 3 Olympics game, day 4 horseback riding option, day 5 treetop adventure park, day 6 kayak, day 7 Collioure. Evenings: day 2 icebreaker games, day 3 big game, day 4 campfire, day 5 night pool, day 6 dinner at the beach, day 7 night under the stars.

FIL Immersion Schedule, 12 days: days 8 to 12. Days 8 to 11: wake-up at 8:30 am, breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 am, lunch from 1 to 2 pm, dinner from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, bedtime between 10 and 11:30 pm. Mornings from 10 am to 1 pm: day 8 canyoning park, day 9 hike in the village of Saint-Laurent, days 10 and 11 French workshops. Afternoons from 3 to 6 pm: day 8 Perpignan, day 9 photo rally in the village, day 10 swimming pool, day 11 investigation game. Evenings at 9 pm: day 8 game at Le Noell, day 9 photo challenge, day 10 talent show, day 11 PARTY! Day 12: departures by plane, coach or train, see you soon at FIL!

CONSECUTIVE STAYS: €50 off per stay per participant. We also offer you full board between the two stays (2 nights) and the continuous presence of our team. (Offer can be combined with other discounts.)

The price includes:

Full board, with a variety of picnics for excursions.
All lessons adapted to the level (1 teacher for 8 to 10 young people), individual follow-up, teaching materials suited to the level, the textbook.
The continuous presence of the FIL team, and the continuous presence of French young people in July/August (1 for every 8 to 10 non-French-speaking participants).
All activities, accompanied by our team, sports instructors & equipment included.
Local transport by coach or minibus.
Administrative fees (€150), and the association’s public liability and accident insurance.

The price does not include:

Travel to and from the centre.
Cancellation insurance, medical insurance
Pocket money. We recommend about €60 to €70.
Optional extras that have to be paid for.
